Warner Brothers Discussions For Hobbies And Games
| Will it still be Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter??? | | the fifth installment of the Harry Potter series will be out in theaters soon. But with the onslaught of angry fans/offended parents and such, do you think Dan Radcliffe will still play Harry Potter on the last two (movies) of the series? Do you think he hurt his image enough when he did that adult play, equus?
It would be a shame if he were to be replaced since he has portrayed the role from the beginning, Do you think the bigwigs at Warner Bros, even consider this?
And if he is to be replaced, who do you think would be best to replace him, I cannot imagine a Harry Potter other than Daniel Radcliffe, but the possibility is there, don't you think, with all the hoopla that surrounded his adult potrayal

| | What cartoons did you like to watch as a kid..do you sometimes still watch them? | | Here's another trip down memory lane...What cartoons did you like to watch as a kid? I grew up in the Looney Tunes years (maybe that's why I'm still looney..LOL)---I remember Sylvester and Tweetie Bird--"I thought I saw a putty cat"..Bugs Bunny...."Hey...doc"..Pepe Le Pu...Was also a fan of Tom and Jerry too...as much as I'm a cat lover I always loved how Jerry the mouse always outwitted Tom the cat...and yes...every once in awhile I'm still given to watching cartoons....
So what cartoons do you remember from your childhood??
| | Cartoons Charactors Under Copyright | | I have a pen-pal in prison who is an excellent artist. I told him that I like Tweety Bird and he sends me one of a kind drawings of Tweety. While I know that Tweety Birds image is under copyright with Warner Brothers, Is it illegal for someone to sale a one of a kind drawing on a website like e-bay or something like that. Does anyone have any information on this? | |

| | Harry potter and his crazy fans | | Harry potter and his crazy fans
It is not books that are getting people all excited, the latest movie Harry Potter and order of the Phoenix is going to release just ten days before the book, and to top it all sources say Warner brothers entertainment inc and universal Orlando Resort have conceptualized a potter world like Disney world whose main attraction would be ride in the Weasels flying car., there are wizard rock bands in the UK that play snags about scenes from the books. Even name have taken from potter land and so do not surprise you hear band names like Harry and the potter, the parselmouths etc, comment.
| | | What do you think about the latest movie "Order of the Phoenix"? | | The more I think about the movie, the more I realize that it seemed like a cliff notes version of the book. So much was left out that at the time didn't seem important, but I've started rereading the book (I'm preparing for the final book on saturday) and I'm realizing that so much was left out. It alomst forces people to read the book! In my opinion if someone only saw the movie and did not read the book, they would be confused. For instance, at the beginning when Harry first saw Hermione and Ron at Grimmauld place, he was upset with them, but the movie really didn't explain why. So many things were glossed over and some of the time jumps were just plain weird! It went from the Dursley's getting into the car to Harry flying off with members of the Order without so much as a word as to why or even a mention of the howler Aunt Petunia received. I would really have liked to see the moment between Aunt Petunia and Harry after the howler.Am I the only one feeling a little gyped by this movie? I enjoyed it, but I really wish they had left more of it in. I understand there was a length issue, but to me, the movie seemed forced and didn't flow well. JMHO | |
| | Order of the Phoenix IS a letdown. | | Don't you agree? I watched the movie and there were just too many scenes cut off from the book. Or maybe it is the book that is too long to fit in a movie? On the other hand, is it not the director that calls the shots? Was he the right man for the job? Were there just too many subplots which were excluded that the story seems below par compared to previous ones? Why was the Order of the Phoenix the longest book YET the shortest movie? Maybe JK Rowling didn't have much say in this movie?
Movies can be very long and NOT be a bore. Lord of the Rings trilogy is a good example. Do you think Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was good?
