Is "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" any good?
It's on my to get list and wanted to find out everyone's opinion before hand... anyone played it yet?
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Okay, I have been a STAR WARS fan for years...I grew up watching these movies and when the new movies came out, I took my son to see them. I owned many of the toys, bought the books, have the movies on DVD, etc. But I just saw the previews for "the Clone Wars" that will be on Cartoon Network starting tomorrow. Now, I know that "The Clone Wars" cartoon movie was just in theaters a month ago, and yet now there is a cartoon spin off? How much is too much? I mean, we know the story, but it seems like Lucas just keeps producing spin off after spin off in his STAR WARS universe. How much story is there really to tell? Starting next year there will be another STAR WARS television program that will chronicle the story between Episode III and Episode IV.How about just write a new script and continue the story or, better yet, do something else besides STAR WARS all together? Don't get me wrong, I love the movies and all, but really, enough is enough.
'Star' wars - again!
It seems to me, that every other day, someone has a right old go, a rant!, curse!, slanging match!, at no-one they actually know ... because they have lost a star on mylot - true? Right!Sometimes there are suggestions made about what can be done to remove, or adjust, the facility which enables any of us the mark someone's comment with a negative. It is frequently alledged that 'other people' mark you down for childish and silly personal reasons, other people say that they are going to leave myLot because of it.Whatever the reasons for people to become hurt and offended by the loss of a star, normally instigated by a collective of immature and childish jerks who take pleasure in depressing their mouse over the minus symbol, it seems to be a fact that myLotters do not like other myLotters having the ability to downgrade each other in such an easy, shallow and unidentified manner. Therefore, my point is this ... would it not be a reasonable thing for the owners of myLot to get their software engineers to simply remove the 'negative button' from the discussion window? This way, it would remove the facility by which these countless and mindless 'irritations' so easily...
Star Wars!!! (subtitle-I'm Gonna Get You Sucka!)
I, and my impeccable reputation (ha), have been publicly threatened by a user because Itold him I gave him a negative rating for telling me to "shut up" in a discussion. Now, he is threatening that he and his friends are going to attack my star. Here are his words:1)"Even after telling you "shut up", you dint listen.Good i came to know that you are responsible for my reputation. Now Not only me, all my friends are even going to bring your reputation, way down. Just keep watching"2) "Not only me all my friends will rate every discussion of myklj999 as negative. Keep watching and be ready for it!!"http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1743077.aspxSo I did the best thing I could: I reported it.Now, this is really silly; but it is also a good example of why I think the star rating system is flawed. I feel my rating him a (-) was justified; it is not something I do often, but today...what the heck. Now, in return foropenly telling him I did it, he's going to attack me. I guess he probably doesn't realise that he isn't gonna hurt my feelings; the worst he can do is go to all 5,300 + discussions, comments and responses I have made and...
Star wars game
Have you play star wars episode 3 on computer? If yes, where you buy the game. Thx
Lego star wars: "mini maul and lego a go go "
Lets face it: LEGO games are usually rubbish. Star wars games-while they're sometimes good-are often rubbish. And games for kids are almost always rubbish- so we werent all that hopeful about LEGO STARS WARS. Imagine our suprise, then, when it turned out to be the games equivalent of putting jam on a cassava pudding, or trusting ewoks to fight huge metal death-machines- a really stup*d idea that works much better than you could possibly imagine and its all down to the LEGO. MINI MAULSee, its all about the logic of playing every scene from stars wars -but with tiny toys. You can use the force on bunches of flowers to make them spit out coins- and it makes sense, because its LEGO! There are puzzles where six people have to stand on different switches to open doors -which is a pretty stupid thing to put in your palace, and definitely wast in the films- but thats okay, because its lego! You dont have to put up with hayden christiansens plank-faced acting or even a imersonator pretending to be him- because its lego, and lego people cant talk obviously. . .I will post again some heplful information in this topic. . . Godbless you always!
Lego star wars about "lego a go go"
LEGO A GO GOOkay, so its not particulary complicated. Youve got three buttons: hit, jump and special ability. If youre stuck, chances are you need to smash something, jump over something or use the force to rearrange something into a handy platform or a set of stairs. But heres the clever bit, youve got up to five support characters trailing you at a time, and you can tag any of them in to use their special abilities. r2-d2 opens doors, anakin crawls through tight spaces, jar-jar jumps really high and annoys everyone, and so on. Support characters will follow you as far ast they can, but youll often have to go on ahead with another character to open up a path for them before you can move to the next area. The very cleve bit is that some levels have areas that are unreacable the first time you play through. You need to go back in free play mode with different characters to reach them. And the super clever bit is that another player can drop in at any time to give you a much needed hand. Al characters will defend themselves but wont actually kill enemies. So another player can give you the edge in the fights. When theyre bored, they can simply drop out again,...
Lego Star Wars: BLOCK PARTY, FORCED SMILE, AND ACTING UP.
Of course, this is all very nice and everything, but it d soon get a bit tedious if that was all there was to it. Fortuanately, Lego stars wars uses its toytow origins to deliver some comedy touches. Some will make you laugh a lot more in one level that an entire films-worth of cutesy gurning from gungan liability jar-jar binks. Forced SmileUse the force on the jukebox in dexters cafe, for instance, and entire place starts hopping along to the mos eisley cantina band's favorite tune. Find some bricks scattered on the floor of jango fetts house, and you can rearrange them to form a portrait of the with them again to show picture of a clone trooper. Nice touches like this alone make the game worth playing.Virtually everything you see can be tweaked and prodded with the force- from flicking lights on and off to making huge space trucks explodes. And the'll all shower you with the lovely.. Lovely studs you need to buy extra characters. Just as good is the LEGO acting although its a scene for scene retread of the films, the characters react like proper comedy toys. Shudder! As captain panaka stop dead when he runs into darth maul, making everyone else slam into the...
LoTR vs Star Wars
this started as a humorous argument at work and figured i'd post it here for fun.which movies did/do you like better? Lord of The Rings or Star Wars. also, please site reasons why one was better than the other. unless of course your fairly neutral, like me.
Uh, Star Wars vs. Trekkies?
I've heard there are usually one or the other - Star Wars fans, or Star Trek fans. Supposedly, one cannot be both. Yeah, I'm being melodramatic. I'm not a huge fan of any of the movies, though if I had to choose it would be Star Wars. There is a new Star Trek movie (from JJ Abrams, creator of LOST and Alias) coming out, and I'm wondering about all the people who will show up in their Trekkie outfits. I remember when George Lucas started making more Star War movies, fans would line up in all different costumes of characters in those movies. Where does your allegiance lie?[em]lol[/em] Star Wars or Star Trek? Know anyone who goes to those movies in outfits? Are you one of them? There is no shame![em]whistle[/em]
