Rules ©1992 Parker Brothers, Division of Tonka Corporation.
Beverly. MA 01915 Printed in China.
OBJECT
Be the first player to get rid of all your donuts by placing
them on the soft rod on top of the temperamental donut-making
machinebefore the machine explodes and sends everybody?s
donuts living! If it goes off on your turn try to catch as many
donuts as you can so you don?t get stuck with them.
EQUIPMENT
DONUT DISASTER ? Donut Machine, foam rod and assorted parts ?
20 Foam Donuts ? Die. Consumer-applied Labels ? 2 C-Cell Batteries
(not included)
SETUP
- Separate all the donuts by color.
- Give one donut of each color to each player. Place any leftover
donuts on the rod on the machine.
- The youngest player goes first, and play passes to the left.
- Press the green launcher down to start the machine?s motor.
GAME PLAY
To start the game:
- Prepare to act fast! Pull up the orange handle to start the
machine in motion.
On your turn:
- Roll the die. What color came up? Quickly, drop all your donuts
of that color on the yellow rod on top of the machine. It is
important that you hold your donuts at the top of the rod and
drop them. Now quickly pass the die to the next player, who does
the same.
- If you don't have any donuts of the color you rolled, pass
the die immediately to the next player.
- If the machine goes off on your turn (while you have possession
of the die), try to catch as many donuts as you can. Put all
the donuts you caught back onto the machine.
- Put all the donuts you didn?t catch in front of you. You?ll
have to try to get rid of them on another turn!
- Press the green launcher down to re-set the machine, pull up
the orange handle to start it jiggling, and keep playing!
WINNING
The first player to get rid of all his/her donuts pushes the
orange handle DOWN to stop the game -and wins!
NOTES:
- This donut machine has a mind of its own. The only way to stop
the machine is to pull up the handle, and let it go until it
runs out of steam and ends its cycle. Just wait patientlyuntil
it blows!
- Restorage: While we do not recommend disassembling the machine
repeatedly, you may remove the bottom supports (?rolling pins?)
and the foam rod if you wish to store it in its box
